2022/23 Annual Registration Fee for Practitioners

The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia has published the annual registration fees for all registered practitioners. NSW Chinese Medicine practitioners have a set annual registration fee of $291 for 2022/23. All fees are payable via the Board website from October.

The annual fee has two components. The registration and accreditation component is calculated by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and the complaints component is calculated by the Chinese Medicine Council of NSW.

For this year only, the Chinese Medicine Council of NSW has waived the complaints component of the renewal fee as there is sufficient capacity to manage the current level of regulatory activity in NSW. Fees are adjusted annually to meet the regulatory needs.

The annual registration fee is a cost recovery model and is not subsided by other health professions. To learn more please visit the Ahpra website
