Chinese Medicine Council EOI for Practitioner Members - Nov 2022

Please note: The submission deadline for these applications has now passed.

The Chinese Medicine Council of New South Wales is currently seeking to appoint a range of Chinese Medicine Practitioners as ‘on call’ expert members, for the purposes of:

  • Conducting professional performance assessments for the Council
  • Sitting on the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
  • Sitting on the Impaired Registrants Panel
  • Sitting on the Performance Review Panel
  • Sitting on the Council’s panels for immediate action (section 150) proceedings

Expert Practitioner Members assist the Council but do not sit on the Council itself. They are contacted on an ad hoc basis to assist with the above panels and processes. At this time, there is a particular need for Performance Assessors and Supervisors.

If you would like to express your interest as a practitioner member, could you please advise by 5 December 2022, indicating your area/s of expertise (acupuncture, herbal medicine, herbal dispensing), your availability and the type of forum/activity you are willing to assist in.

Applicants are required to submit a brief statement addressing each of the selection criteria and provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae (maximum of 5 pages)

Practitioner members, who are not Public Sector employees, are renumerated for their services in line with NSW Government policy.
